Clive K. Fields, MD
Clive K. Fields, MD joined Village Family Practice in 1991 after completing his residency at Baylor College of Medicine and medical school at The Chicago Medical School. He has been Board certified in Family Medicine since 1991. Dr. Fields was born in Scotland before moving to Houston and attending High School at Stratford High School in Houston and college at The University of Texas, Austin.
Dr Fields believes a patient needs to be an active and informed member of their care team. Without patients actively committed to improving their health, physicians can’t help them get the best results. Using a team approach to health care that includes nurses, educators, therapists and most importantly the patient, Dr. Fields tries to meet a patient’s needs regardless of where they start. Every patient can be helped in some way to physically and emotionally feel better. Skilled in providing Annual Exams, management of chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension, and acute illnesses like sinusitis, allergies, and minor trauma, Dr Fields will be able to manage the majority of health care needs you have.
Dr. Fields is currently on staff at Hermann/Memorial City Hospital, The Methodist Hospital, Katy and St. Luke’s Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas. He has been recognized clinically for expertise in diabetic management and has been honored as one of Houston’s Top Doctors by H Magazine and Texas Monthly.
Dr. Fields is married with 3 teenage children and enjoys golf on the weekends. His favorite author is Cormac McCarthy, favorite wine Italian and favorite artist Brice Marden.
