Larry Schmidt, PTA
Larry Schmidt, PTA is a native of Texas, having grown up outside Ft. Worth, Texas. He attended college at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he studied psychology. He relocated to Austin, Texas to obtain his physical therapist assistant’s degree at Austin Community College in 2000. Larry moved to Houston in 2001, where he began working in various disciplines of physical therapy. He enjoys working in outpatient orthopedic, and post-surgical care. Larry’s interest include: performing manual therapy techniques such as spinal mobilizations, shiatsu, and soft tissue work. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his son Austin, step-daughter Sierra, and wife Melissa. He also enjoys cooking, surfing, and exercising. His favorite things to watch on television are his Texas Longhorns and Tennessee Titans football teams. Larry and his family currently reside in Richmond, Texas with their two Labradors, a poodle, and one cat.
